Door looks gorgeous but the grill framework on the glass appear very cheap looking, they don't fit tight around the glass windows.

Great garage door
I've gotten lots of favorable comments on my new garage door. I had a good time installing it. Lots of parts to assemble. But good instructions. Biggest problem was needing to re frame my existing door because it wasn't square. Tacking door panels to frame and then installing rails was a good way to insure rail alignment.

beautiful door
beautiful door but grill doesn't fit windows properly and it is very noticable. It makes the door look cheap and that really distracts from quality of door.

Nice product, 7 on a DIY scale
I think delivery said between Oct 21-27... It arrived on the 28th... close enough. So delivery was timely. The instructions were concise, and the installation took myself and a helper 4.5 hours. Not Including removal of old door and some rough opening tune up. Although some of the pre-punched holes don't line up precisely, you won't have a problem seating them with an impact drill on a low setting with being careful not to overdo them. YES... there were TWO DIFFERENT sized springs in the set... read more but if you read the install manual, it states, that is normal due to different weights of doors. Working together, the springs provide a TOTAL amount of lift. I have little concern with them breaking as other reviews have stated. ( I don't think Clopay would package insufficient parts with their product ). Maybe they didn't follow the spring setting procedure, take your time, READ and REREAD the instructions and you should be fine. This gets a 7 on the DIY scale because it isn't something just "any homeowner can do". I chose not to replace the door opener (1/2hp lift master) because the old wood door was considerably heavier, and it was in good working condition. This a quality product from a well known company. Would certainly recommend.

GREAT DOOR
FOLLOWED INSTRUCTIONS And viewed video and installed with help of grandson. It replaced an old un-insulated door that made lots of noise. Replacing the door and new lift mechanism made it all super quiet and pleased the wife very much. Garage is cooler with the insulated door versus the old un-insulated one. Very happy I did this and installed myself, the easy spring tension system was a breeze once I read and understood it well, how it would be done. It would have excellent across the board if it wouldn't have been bent in the box, so we had to reorder etc

Great Looking Door and Easy to Install
I am an above average DIYer so installing this garage door was a breeze. Prior to installing I pulled the installation instructions out of the box and took some time to read them over. If you start at the beginning, follow the instructions step by step, the installation will go well. Overall the quality was good and the door had no visible defects. I would definitely buy this again.

awesome replacement
we bought this to replace a Wayne Dalton garage that was originally placed on the house, this came with all the hardware, panels and nice spring setup... The spring that came with our garage had an automatic windup mechanism on it which was our biggest concern of installing a garage door for the first time... FreeDelivery was also a big relief!!!

Look nice, easy to install
I am rebuilding the entire garage facade and have never installed doors before, but the directions were clear and easy to follow and I was able to install them by myself (although it would have been easier with help).
