I have been a member of C.O.D.A (California Operator and Door Association .) as well as I.D.A. (International Door Association)
Meet the Business Owner
I started installing Garage Doors in 1987 after serving 4 years in the USMC. I have installed thousand of Garage Doors and Openers up and down the state, from major builders to homeowners. I worked as a Salesman and Manager for a major Door company for 7 years. I have over 20 years experiance in Commercial Door installation. I attend numerous manufacture training seminars and work closely with all my suppliers.

In most situations a company will come out and replace the spring with an entirely new spring. Even though there are some companies that will offer actual repairs on the broken spring, this is not recommended. Usually when springs break it is because the metal is becoming "weak." In this case, repairing it would be comparable to patching up a pair of worn out jeans.
