We came down from Mariposa ca to look for door locks After going to lowes and not getting any help, We went to Merced ca #6618.The wife and I were looking at door locks for mobiles. And not to long a young man floor person ask if we needed help then call for a other associate in the store and not much help and now frustrated we were leaving, Then the same young man, (Can`t remember his name) said let check the web and ordered the door lock and deadbolt set. received them and I installed the ... read more both, With a little trouble with the deadbolt and with my craft and a few shims, (the door is wore out ) and i got a great fit. door knob worked great in a moble home door
Great product for the price, very easy to install, looks good, is better quality then expected for the price, the only problem I had with it was the door being a little narrow but still worked great

Secures our garage
The lock keeps our garage secure and easily accessible for us. The installation was straight forward and simple. One exception: I had to turn the spindle 90 degrees from the way the directions showed to get the door knob to actuate the lock. The combination set easily and the lock works like a charm. It is so much more convenient than always having keys with you or leaving the door unlocked and subject to pilferage.

Easy to use, easily programmed to set the code.
We installed this lock in a gate on the side of our house that leads to the pool. Wanted the gate secure for Safety reasons. We set a 5 digit code. Pool Co., gardener and pest control guys all use it without any issues. Wish I had found this years ago. It took a neighbor to install one before I found it. Great Product and their tech support is good as well!

Nice lockset, wrong latch type
I wanted to add a lockset to the door between my garage and house for added security as it originally had only a passage set. Since Home Depot does not actually specify which type of latch set they are sending, I wrongly thought that I would get something that would work with a drive-in setup or a mortise style setup. This was not the case. My doors are all drive-in type and the lockset I received was mortise style - with the flange - which would need the door modified to fit the flange. I ... read more checked the page several times to see if I had made an error and found that I had not; there is nothing on the page that even mentions the type of latch being provided. A local locksmith gave me a used latch set, but it jammed when I installed it - probably why it had been replaced. Then, I tried the state rep for Weslock and they have never called me back. Finally, I called Weslock customer service and they agreed to send me the correct part, but told me I should have specified when I ordered from Home Depot. Unfortunately Home Depot doesn't give you the option when you order and if you're like me, you probably don't think they'll be sending you a lockset that isn't suitable for your application. I'm not even sure they could have got it right if I had made a note anywhere in the ordering process. I haven't received the drive-in latch yet, but assuming Weslock sent it, I'm sure it will be here soon. I did have the set rekeyed and the tumblers turned around to match the door swing, something that the builder of my house could not be bothered to have done as my front door set has always been upside down until now. That part is annoying as I've used other brands' locksets that were not as difficult to adjust for door swing, but it can be done with this Weslock one, so I can't fault them completely for it. Still, the lockset itself is fine, matches all the existing locks in my house. Good quality, but hard to find matching sets because they are not really sold in retail establishments, rather mostly online which means if you need one in a hurry, you're out of luck.

BEST ENTRY KNOB EVER INVENTED!!! With push button lock!
This is my favorite entry knob - I won't use anything else! These last forever! Just push the button on the inside knob collar before leaving the house and the audible click tells you the door is securely locked. Not like the standard twisy knobs where if you don't get them in the right position, someone can wiggle the handle to unlock your door! These knobs have never failed me! I'm finally replacing the front door set - still works but it is finicky about how deep to push the key in before turning. But my other 4 locks still work great after 14 years! I'm buying a new set for the whole house to ensure that I will have enough of these knobs to last until I die. The other reviewer might be right - Home Depot may not have the tools to rekey these locks, but I don't care. I'd pay anything for these knobs to avoid my frustration with those unreliable twisty knobs on the handle that everyone sells now.

The product was easy to install. I was replacing the same product that was worn so all the holes lined up exactly.

Quality knob
Love a good knob that's for sure! This one just felt right, and being that it's oil rubbed bronze I knew it was ready to go. It turns with ease either direction and after insertion the key was simple. Get it right, get it tight and locked up. That's why this is the only knob for me.
