Capacity is much higher than the batteries chamberlain uses although those come with the openers and do not require mounting above the powerhead (they are installed within the powerhead). Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by WartHog1120 Works Great. Installed this back-up battery on my Genie Series II opener and five days later had a massive power failure (Southwest Cook County, Illinois). Was without electricity for almost three straight days-6/30/14 to 7/3/14. This battery and opener worked great. Must have ran opener w/ battery power for 25 to 30 cycles. Opener ran as if it was using 120 volt house power. Never noticed any slowing down of opener over the three day time period. Highly recommended-am going to install this battery on my daughter's Genie opener as well... July 15, 2014

According to Gatehouse remote controls and entry systems, these remotes are no longer made. So you have to replace the receiver, and the remote, with the genie girud receiver upgrade kit. This is $47.64, and another $24.87 for each additional remote above the first. Here is the link:
