Beware of shelf issue
While the door itself is very solid and installation by my contractor appeared to be fairly straightforward, I wish I had put more consideration into the other review about the shelf. The shelf is in fact NOT attached to the door. And my door happened to show up without the shelf at all. After multiple phone calls and three weeks later, I am in possession of the STYROFOAM ("heavy duty") shelf but now, after two more phone calls, I have to wait for JeldWen to send me the "adhesive strip" that is ... read more used to attach the shelf. I agree with the previous reviewer - save your money and get the door without the shelf. Or, alternately, you can special order the fiberglass version on which the shelf is attached. It will take a little longer and cost a little more but worth it if you really want the shelf look.

Beautiful door.
The door is beautiful! The frame was a tad bigger than the prior door so it took some work. We also didn't receive all the plugs for the screws. Hoping to get some extra.

Front Entry Door
I really don't know about the installation; I had a contractor install it, but it is beautiful, has a very tight seal and I am very pleased with the door.

I had the door delivered to my home on a Tuesday afternoon and I had it installed by Tuesday evening. It was very easy to install and it looks great!

This door adds a touch of sophistication to curb appeal.
This door looked beautiful even in the store so it was a no-brainer that it would be amazing on my house. It was easy to install and paint. It is also very easy to clean. We picked up some Behr exterior paint in "Cherry Cobbler" to give it a deep, bold color and finished it off with a kwikset knob and dead bolt. Thanks to this door, my house finally looks like it belongs in the neighborhood.

Excellent Door- Lets light in- Easy install.
This door looks great as a replacement for older style solid wood front door. Lets more light in and brightens entryway. Installation was easy and we didn't even use the frame the door came with. You can do it yourself!

The one you want
Ordered this door to replace our back door. Very pleased. Installation was simple. The predrilled lock holes lined up with the jamb perfectly. Even the lock fit without any modification. The door seals tight. After install, we gave it a light sanding, and painted it. Great door.

Ordered online. Door came with bronze hinges..yet it clearly states nickle in the item description. Filed a case with Home Depot and should be receiving the correct ones (but have to go thru the trouble of swapping them out). Other than that..door is as expected and pretty decent for price. Would recommend waiting for sale..could have saved 15% after buying as well..which kind of leaves a bad taste in my mouth.

Great for the price
We purchased this door to use as our back entry door for a new house that we are renovating and so far it's great, looks really nice for decent price, was easy enough for one person to install alone. We'll have to see how it holds up in the Michigan weather though. lots of hot-to-cold transitions here so hopefully it fares well.

The door was shipped to my house and arrived in perfect condition. The look and quality of the door is very good. It's winter now, so I haven't had a chance to see how well the solar heat gain performance is in the Florida sun. I'm very happy with the door and would buy it again.

I have installed many of these doors and also the french door option they work and look great and are very affordable. I would most certainly suggest these to anyone.

Beautiful and economical.
Our new door is beautiful and functional. For an economical door, it was a very good choice. We love the internal window shade. The staff at the Home Depot was very helpful and even helped me load on the car.
